CigarKings Maduro Robusto

HISTORY

Starting without much prior knowledge of the cigar world, this best describes the origins of CigarKings. Founder Philipp Kugler initially had no connection to cigars but came from a completely different professional background. As part of his studies in communication design, he created branding for what was then a fictional cigar brand. However, what started as a creative university project quickly turned into a deep passion for cigars and their production. From idea to execution: Since 2016, CigarKings has been present in the market as a company. The journey was by no means easy – numerous visits to speciality retailers and events were necessary to establish a name.

CigarKings is a young and modern cigar label. You can clearly see this in the brand identity, from the design and packaging to the blend. However, they looked for a manufacturer that is run by Cuban exiles. This allows them to roll all CigarKings cigars in the old entubado style. We also only use Viso and Seco tobacco and two binders. To top it off, a triple cap is also rolled out of the wrapper.

CIGARKINGS NICARAGUAN MADURO

The CigarKings Nicaragua Series aimed to create cigars with relatively low nicotine content, whilst maintaining a complex and creamy taste. This was made possible by using only Viso and Seco tobacco, along with their secret binders, to explore the tastes usually found in heavier-bodied cigars. The all-natural Maduro wrapper is employed for a complex and sweeter taste to complement the filler as well as the binder.
