HISTORY

Quintero’s smooth, medium-bodied taste makes it ideal for those seeking to experience the flavour of Havana at an affordable price.

It is one of the few Havana brands not born in Cuba’s capital city. Instead, its founder, Augustin Quintero, with his four brothers, set up shop in the south coast city of Cienfuegos, known as the “Pearl of the South”. The tobaccos selected for Quintero’s filler blend came from the Vuelta Abajo and Semi Vuelta zones.

All Quinteros are made using the ‘tripa corta, totalmente a mano’ – short filler, totally handmade technique.

TASTING NOTES

This medium-bodied cigar delivers notes of earth, roasted coffee, leather, and a gentle spice, rounded out by a nutty creaminess.

Its short, flavourful nature is perfectly suited to a hot, strong beverage, such as a rich Espresso or a sherried Blended Scotch Whisky.
