HISTORY
Vegueros translates into English as ‘farmers’, and these cigars have happily maintained their rustic edge. The name of each new vitola also draws inspiration from the Cuban farmers’ vocabulary.
Originally introduced to the market in 1996 as a full-flavoured tribute to the countless generations of men and women that have cultivated tobacco in the world-famous plantations of Pinar del Rio, the brand was relaunched in 2013 with a new medium-to-full bodied blend, new sizes and presented in unique tins of 16 cigars.
All sizes of Vegueros are ‘tripa larga, totalmente a mano,’ – long filler, totally handmade.
This stout cigar delivers the intense and unique Vegueros taste in a format made famous by the Montecristo Petit Edmundo, released in 2006. Available in smart tins of 16 cigars and packs of 4.
TASTING NOTES
This medium-to-full-bodied smoke delivers a balanced profile of toasted cedar, spice, and a unique herbal or grassy undertone.
The earthy character is perfectly complemented by a spicy Rye Whiskey or a glass of rich, dark Vintage Port.
