HISTORY
Vegueros translates into English as ‘farmers’, and these cigars have happily maintained their rustic edge. The name of each new vitola also draws inspiration from the Cuban farmers’ vocabulary.
Originally introduced to the market in 1996 as a full-flavoured tribute to the countless generations of men and women that have cultivated tobacco in the world-famous plantations of Pinar del Rio, the brand was relaunched in 2013 with a new medium-to-full bodied blend, new sizes and presented in unique tins of 16 cigars.
All sizes of Vegueros are ‘tripa larga, totalmente a mano,’ – long filler, totally handmade.
This unique size is named after the small leaves, and the first ones to be picked, found at the foot of Cuban tobacco plants. An affordable way to enjoy some of Cuba's finest tobacco.
TASTING NOTES
This compact, medium-to-full-bodied cigar offers a burst of black pepper, grass, and roasted coffee, and a tangy, spicy finish.
Its bold, earthy profile pairs wonderfully with a Dark Roast Espresso or a full-proof Aged Cuban Rum.
